Yes.
However Zutara and Borra are two completely different ships and the members of each vessel are for the most part different.

I think the biggest difference between the feeling if being Zutarian versus being a Borradora ( my word for it- it means eraser in spanish) is that with Borra we sort of accepted the fact that our ship wouldn’t be cannon, only a few of us i believe never added the phrase “i love Borra but Makorra will most likely end up being cannon” or any variation of it.
By contrast, many Zutarians (like me) firmly believed that Zutara was going to become cannon. Some of us still do…

Zutara was about lets prove we will be cannon! Borra is more “its ok if we dont become canon as long as we have fun and enjoy out ship” Borra is careful about not becoming canon so when it didnt happen while we were sad… We werent utterly destroyed.

were we one ship or many vessels? Hmmm i think Zutara was a fleet, some of us followed different Zutarians, of course there were many who followed the TZO trio, then others who followed Kat, Avidzkjo, and then the Capslock Zutarians, so while we all were Zutarians we werent always on the same deck, but always on the same course, like an Armada.

Zutarian drinks?

Oh you bet they are! CAPSLOCK ZUTARA had a post a while back where they brilliantly engineered a Zutara cocktail in which not only combined burning alcohol ice and made it look purple in a good light ( which im sure taste delicious but still being underage i am unable to partake of this beauty)

Officers… Hmm.

Its hard to keep thinking of Zutara as a ship fleet… Shipping was only a small facet of what we were… In a way we were an empire a kingdom, and a kingdom needs its rulers i suppose…

And i do believe Erica (aka greenifyme) was proclaimed to be the Queen of Zutara by encyclopedia dramatica, and from there i believe she ordained several prominent Zutarians with royal titles ( i know IsaluvsZutara07 cofounder of ZEFID was one who she made princess)

Ummm… Fanfictions… Did Zuko die?

Im sure he did in the super agnst ones… But sometimes Katara did too… Sometimes Zuko would capture Katara and rape her later, sometimes Katara would seduce Zuko and kill him off later, depending on the situation and the writer the deaths could go either way.

Love Bridges… Its a tough thing to say since they dont bend the same element and all they could do is blow off some steam (pun intended) but Zutara excelled in back to back fighting (in sozins comet when they went through mock fireguards with the 180 dolly shot) and always had some nice dueling moments. I know for certain Zutara Hearts were like our Borra Love Bridge. In Crossroads of Destiny Book 2 finale, while both of them use fire/water whips at each other both simultaneously make a heart with their respective whip.

Picking Apart looks…

Oh boy… Short story short… Yes. Crossroads of destiny gave us a lot to pick apart… ZEFID did a lot and even the rest of us did.

Comics…

Yeah a lot. Trishna87 did many lovely works… Drisela (she did the picture in the infamous Book 4 Air Chapter 1Forbidden Love where Katara says she shouldnt have doubted the will of… Yeah) contributed her own lovely works and illustrated some of our beloved fanfics, Irrel ( who i saw recently drawing Borra) also had her Zutara AU College comic and many more shippers had thier own stuff

In Summary while Zutara and Borra havnt been canonized and share several key factors with each other, both were very different ships, we both painfully understand that Bryke made a mistake in choosing who ends up together but deal with it in our own unique ways. I could honestly keep going but im sure i probably said more than what you expected, and i hope i didnt bore you



You know when you see a couple in an animated series kiss? 

like you know in disney movies:

or an anime

or a TV series:

and you just wanna go awww… or yay! or nod your head and say i saw it coming a mile away…

Makorra just gave me a No. 

i Can’t watch the two of them make out, no seriously i actually scrunch my nose close my eyes and waited it out.

and i don’t think its because i dislike the pairing…

pairings i dislike and don’t heavy and exaggeratedly object to seeing them kiss

am i the only one with this problem?
